Teaching Style
Light-hearted instruction emphasizing inquiry, alignment, breath and philosophy to explore the ever-changing experience of being embodied. Styles of movement range from cool Yin and restorative to hot yoga and vinyasa.
How Yoga Serves Amanda
For Amanda, yoga is a process of “unlearning.” It’s a path of personal discovery; an opportunity to listen deeply and access the body’s innate wisdom
Words of Wisdom
The path to strength is vulnerability.
Backgound
Amanda found yoga through injury. Initially trained in hot yoga, she became a Self-Awakening Yoga Therapeutics® practitioner, and is an ongoing student at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, Massachusetts. Her perspective is informed by trainings with Yoganand Michael Carroll (Pranakriya) and Don Stapelton (Nosara Yoga Institute). She is trained in Thai Massage and certified in Plant-Based Nutrition. She loves exploration of mantra, subtle body work and things yet to be discovered. See www.yoga-amanda.com, or follow Amanda Trevelino Yoga on Facebook.
