Yin Sound Bath

Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
$35 per person

An extended and deep yin practice led by Will Milne accompanied by ambient crystal singing bowls played by Rebecca Turk. The bowls are tuned to the body’s chakra system to help release and open these energy centers. Participants will be guided through a meditative and healing journey of yoga and sound where no effort is needed. Practice will end with a 30 minute Yoga Nidra meditation.

The soundscape will also include a native drum that mimics the sound of ocean waves which are mentally and energetically cleansing and clearing. The gentle tones of Koshi chimes tuned specifically to the four elements will complete the experience. Rebecca’s sound bath experiences are cleansing and rejuvenating on the deepest cellular levels; connecting mind, body and spirit.

Vibrational sound healing has been shown to help reduce stress, promote restful sleep, and relax tension in the body by producing a specific resonance and tone. A sound bath is one of the most relaxing experiences you can give yourself. It is an effective form of deep rest and rejuvenation for your physical body & your mind. Just 30 minutes of rest and meditation in a sound bath is equivalent to 2 hours of deep sleep! Feel for yourself how deep rest can be experienced at conscious states of yogic meditation, with the aid of sound.
