Join Mindy Underberger and learn how to combine myofascial release with yoga asanas in this soothing and stress-relieving workshop.
Students will learn how to increase flexibility, prevent tightness and relieve soreness by targeting this hidden layer of connective tissue. By exploring how to use props and yoga postures to increase blood flow and smooth out the fascia that lies right below the skin, students may gain new insight into body mechanics.
During this workshop, students will use a ball (provided), strap and blanket to work the fascia beginning with the feet and working each area of the body up to the crown of the head. By incorporating postures and breath work into a practice of total body self massage, students may find the experience nurturing and eye-opening.
Bring your mat and wear comfortable clothing. Other props will be provided.
