Teaching Style
Archith’s teaching style is filled with inspiration and humor. He uses Indian classical music for a transformative zen flow and incorporates pranayama (breathwork). He uses imagery and analogies to bring a creative perspective to this ancient art form. If you are looking for a yoga teacher that weaves in Hindu mythology, Sanskrit poses, breathwork, and inspiring music, join Archith Seshadri on your yoga mat. Whether this is your first class or your hundredth, Archith strives to meet you where you are so you can flow with intent and purpose, and find your strength. Archith loves to share a personal anecdote at the end of each class to help you feel motivated on and off your mat.
How Yoga Serves Archith
For Archith, yoga provides grounding, balance, and healing. It’s the one moment of the day where you don’t talk to anyone, stay unplugged from technology, and can truly embrace silence and stillness. Archith says he feels motivated, rejuvenated, and inspired every time he steps on to his mat.
Words of Wisdom for Students
My mantra to my yoga students is to trust the process and enjoy the progress. Be patient with yourself. There are numerous benefits to yoga and it’s a beautiful form of self care and can boost your confidence, wellness and mental health. When you walk in to your yoga class, be present, be mindful and be respectful. That means no phones and no talking. If you find a pose challenging, try to use a prop like a block or take a modification. Like author James Clear says in his book “Atomic Habits,” if you keep working every day and create a good habit, you will be surprised at your results! No one can motivate you but you. No one can push yourself but you. So give yourself the gift of attemping, trying, flowing and finding freedom! You got this!
