Teaching Style
In her breathwork classes, Victoria begins with movement- dancing, shaking, stretching, etc. – to help students get out of their heads and into their bodies. After that, she goes over the breathing technique (also known as Conscious Connected Breathing or three-part breath) and what students may experience while practicing. Victoria then guides students through the session with various affirmations and prompts. The class concludes with a meditation and reading.
How Breathwork Serves Victoria
Victoria aims to practice breathwork and meditation for a minimum of 10-15 minutes every morning. This helps start her day off with a clean slate of positivity and openness. Victoria also incorporates breathwork when needed to shift her mood, process and release negative emotions, and cultivate focus. As an actor, Victoria often uses breathwork before auditions and acting class, and on set to access creativity.
Words of Wisdom
Your experience and outcome will be different every time you practice Conscious Connected Breathing. Partaking in this journey can be a great way to surrender and trust that whatever you’re meant to feel, release, process, explore, hear, etc. will be revealed in the session (and in life).
