Class & Discussion — Friday, November 15, 2024

Join us this fall as we read the classic book by Deborah Adele, “The Yamas and Niyamas: Exploring Yoga’s Ethical Practice.”
This book takes readers on a journey into the yoga beyond the postures and inspires a deeper look at the way we approach ourselves and others. The Introduction Workshop will begin the reading period, and a Closing Discussion will culminate the experience along with a special practice to bring everything together. Themed classes and emails will be offered throughout the experience as a way for students to learn and grow. Go deeper in your practice this fall season!
INTRODUCTION – Sunday, Sept 15th, 2 – 4PM
A guided practice that introduces the Yamas and Niyamas in action. The class will be followed by a discussion on how to apply the principles into your daily life and a meditation to deepen your experience of the topics.
CLOSING DISCUSSION – Friday, Nov 15th, 2 – 4PM
Gather together again for group discussion and a practice applying the lessons learned. Have a chance to hear from your peers and share insights from your themed yoga practices together.
