Jen focuses on strong fundamentals that allow her students to grow. Her classes are designed to create space and strength in the body to encourage a deepening awareness inward. Through graceful movement, mindful breath, and yoga philosophy, Jen wants you to leave class feeling refreshed, renewed and recharged.

How Yoga Serves Jen

Yoga is the best gift Jen has ever received. She is awakened through yoga; it is the foundation of her life. Yoga teaches Jen to lead with her heart, listen to her intuition, and trust her gut. Through this practice, Jen’s passions are encouraged and fears silenced. Yoga strengthens her body, calms her mind and creates a path to knowing her soul.

Background

Jen was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio, and has lived in Atlanta for the past eight years. She began practicing yoga when she moved down south, and progressed into a steady and consistent practice in 2013 after graduating with her MBA from Georgia Tech. In search of her next career move, Jen found herself more frequently on the mat and began to understand that teaching yoga – not corporate life – was the way. She completed her 200 hour certification at Peachtree Yoga Center in 2015, and has since gone on to help lead their Teacher Training Program as well as the Teacher Training Program at CorePower Yoga. Jen lives in deep gratitude every day that teaching yoga is her life! Jen is Love Your Brain certified.
