Teaching Style
Katy Spiers offers an accessible and inclusive practice that honors the traditional roots of yoga while meeting the needs of modern practitioners. She brings a gentle, nurturing approach to her classes, creating a safe space where students can deepen their mind-body connection at their own pace. Drawing from Vinyasa, Gentle Flow, and Hatha principles, Katy guides students through balanced sequences that integrate breath, movement, and mindfulness.
How Yoga Serves Katy
After decades in corporate leadership roles, Katy discovered yoga as a pathway to balance and inner peace amid the demands of high-pressure environments. What began as a stress-relief practice evolved into a transformative journey that reshaped how she approaches life, relationships, and well-being. Yoga gave her the tools to cultivate presence, compassion, and resilience—gifts she now feels called to share with others navigating their own challenges and transitions.
Words of Wisdom
Yoga is not about perfection or achievement. It’s about showing up for yourself with curiosity and kindness. Each time you step onto your mat, you have the opportunity to listen to your body, honor where you are, and discover what’s possible when you meet yourself with compassion rather than judgment.
