How Yoga Serves Kenzie

For Kenzie, yoga is a moving meditation—a place where she can truly feel embodied. It provides her with the opportunity to be present and connected in a way that goes beyond the physical postures. Every movement in yoga encourages her to listen to her body and honor its needs in that moment. Through this practice, Kenzie feels grounded, creating a bridge between mind, body, and spirit. Yoga helps her tune into the sensations she experiences, which is a constant reminder of the importance of self-awareness and mindfulness. Embodiment in yoga means embracing each movement as an expression of who she is in the present moment, without judgment or expectation.

Words of Wisdom

One of Kenzie’s favorite teachings comes from the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali: “Yogas chitta vritti nirodhah” (Yoga is the stilling of the fluctuations of the mind). This sutra reminds her that yoga is more than just physical postures—it’s a way to quiet the mind and cultivate a stronger connection with the self.
