Teaching Style
Taylor’s classes are designed to create a playful and safe place for you to challenge your body; whatever that looks like to you. Maybe it’s finding appreciation for stillness, trying something new, letting go of expectations, or dancing a lil bit between the shapes. Her classes are geared towards the power of embodiment; encouraging students to connect with their breath & hold space for themselves.
How Yoga Serves Taylor
Yoga taught her how to breathe better, to calm herself, how to come out of her head and into her body. Practicing and teaching yoga today brings Taylor such peace & joy; she wants to create opportunities for others to step into themselves and feel they’re getting their own version of that wholeness too!
Words of Wisdom
In the moments you don’t know what you’re doing, you’re your most free to do something new.
To not know what to choose, means you have a choice,
A brand new chance to choose you.
You’re so busy trying to figure out what happens next,
You forget we’re not meant to know.
Ask any creature, any bird or crawling thing, they can’t tell you the next place they’ll go.
So you don’t know where you’re headed, and you don’t know who you’ll be,
You could call that being lost…
Or, you could call it being free.

Background
Yoga found Taylor back in 2018, when she was annoyed with how inflexible she was, she gave yoga a try. When the pandemic hit, she deepened her practice from home. Once a school teacher, with her Master’s in Early Childhood Education, she converted to teaching yoga once she became a certified Yoga teacher in 2022 by Highland Yoga. She loves the artistry, creativity, and challenge associated with learning and teaching, adapting to meet learners where they’re at and finding the angle that works to encompass their understanding. Also founder and creator of Glow + Flow, a dance-like yoga experience, you can find her on Instagram @glow.and.flow.yoga
